Build Drinking Water Tanks For Africa

Emergency water tankers help us to provide communities across Africa with immediate access to clean drinking water following natural disasters and emergencies that might otherwise make it unavailable.

The world is an unknown environment. Catastrophic natural disasters, national emergencies, prolonged periods of drought and war are just some of the possible causes of a lack of clean water. In those times, chaos and outbreaks of violence often occur within a short period of time without clean water.

With a lack of water for drinking and basic hygiene, the chance of an epidemic viral outbreak and death increases sharply so its vital communities are able to get quick access to water.

In Africa, a prolonged drought can affect thousands of people whilst the ongoing war in Palestine and Yemen has resulted in a huge cholera outbreak.

Capable of providing up to 30,000 litres, a Water Tanker affords entire communities with one of the very basic amenities of life. During the decade long blockade in Gaza, where regular water supply was reduced, tankers helped provide those communities further away from operational towns’ access to clean water.

Our Pearl Action Aid Africa Water Tanker supply project has helped those communities in Yemen, Gaza and Somalia affected by war and natural disasters. We helped provide those people entirely reliant on aid with clean and safe water that can be used for drinking, cooking and hygiene.

We never know when or where the next disaster will occur which is why we need your help in ensuring we can be there when it does. With your support, we can provide families, villages or even entire communities with a water tanker that will be able to provide them with the basic necessity of life.

Even in times of peace, demand in some areas is so high that some households will only receive a small trickle of water; leaving families forced to ration off their water or pay vast sums of money to acquire clean water. By helping us to fund these tankers, you will be helping to ensure they will not only have a constant supply of fresh water for the house but can also keep crops watered and animals healthy; keeping their livelihoods flourishing.
